Invito Couture in Tinseltown Mall | 88 West Pender Vancouver

Last week Diamonds in the City took a visit to Invito Couture to marvel at its new collection of dazzling ball gowns and flirty cocktail dresses. Invito Couture is nestled in the International Village (Tinseltown) on 88 West Pender. This high-end boutique stands out amongst the other retail hubs with a gorgeous window display of red carpet dresses in front of a crystal-beaded backdrop. The space is fresh and inviting. The blank walls and bright lights make for a studio-like ambiance.

Invito Couture caters to the glamorous woman. All the dresses are made from Turkish and Italian fabrics like chiffon, duchess satin and crepe. Each dress is inspired by European fashion adorned with luxurious beading and vibrant to subtle colours. Gemstones and sequins add a personal touch to each dress. From short, sexy dresses to full-length evening gowns Invito Couture is a fashion house of glamour and luxury with looks inspired by names such as Gucci, Cavalli and Valentino.

A favorite piece by Invito. The dress is essentially a short hem line with a sheer cape that drapes the back falling gracefully to the floor

After peeping its new collection, Diamonds in the City put the dresses to the test. Invito Couture has brought in even more eye-catching, bold dresses for the upcoming season from powder colours, ruffles, rose embellished designs and silver linings; Invito has you covered for the perfect red carpet event, summer night soiree, (and as Christmas is the next big celebration) your Christmas party gown that will have heads turning.

The electric duo behind Invito Couture is owner: Yeliz Delaney, fashion marketing, PR and business guru and her husband Prahlad Delaney, the boutique’s marketing director. They are often on site at Invito Couture to help you pick out your perfect show-stopping, jaw dropping ball gown.

The boutique also carries beautiful accessories to add that extra sparkle. From earings to necklaces, even pashminas. The most recent accessory to hit the shelf are the alternative sequined-bra straps: Strappys ($27-35).
